Dénes Krusovszky has been publishing his poems since 2006, but the public may have only come to know his name in 2018, when his first novel, "Akik már nem leszünk sosem", has been published, which has been a bestseller ever since.

Géza Ottlik's best-known work is the "Iskola a határon", but "hajnali háztetők" is our alternative favorite - we will discuss this novel with Dénes Krusovszky in April. The novel is set in the very center of Hungarian history in the 1930s and 1950s. It's about friendship, love, loyalty, betrayal, and art. In our April book club we will discuss this important work with Dénes Krusovszky where he will also tell us why it has become one of his favorite novels and the influence it has made on his own works.
