One hundred years of solitude is one of the most important novels in Latin American literature, and probably the most outstanding works of magical realism. The novel tells the story of a family, the Buendías, but can even be interpreted as the evolutionary story of humanity. The action sequences return, the names in the family keep repeating, which makes us conclude that everything in the world is always repeating.

We willl discuss this novel with Nóémi Orvos-Tóth - in her own book, "Örökölt sors", she examines the traumas and patterns of families across generations
